I would argue that the "story-gameplay-story" formula CAN actually work quite well *in certain situations* -- I think the first "World of Goo" pulls of that type of storytelling in actually a very satisfying way (though maybe it's more "gameplay-story-gameplay" in it's structure... The gameplay is why you are playing it, and the story just ends up being surprisingly better than it has any right to be). Edit: Ok, maybe you were just saying it wouldn't work well in your particular example -- not that the structure doesn't ever work for any game.

Is it necessary to know the story Around the World in Eighty Days before playing the game? What age group is ths suitable for?

I saved all the people, I can't solve the last thing. I find the flash memory and put it in place, but nothing happens, I also found the sun clock pieces.

unfathomably ass game

This game is so fun to play. I adore every aspect of it, including the confusing ones. I've been playing the game ever since I saw it for the first time, it's really interesting and, for me, gradually helps you get the hang of riddles. I have a few theories for this game and many more questions about it. Honestly wish there were more games like this, too :)

I’ve saved six people, but this soldier is so hard to save.. Even the treasure beside him I still don’t know how to open.. Does this need to be opened? I’ve been going around but I’ve been crushed to death. I even met Alamos through their gravestone. Please help me! I’ve been doing this for three days. :(

A Highland Song was my GotY 2023 and this looks great. If only it was coming to a platform I'm willing to support I'd be all over it. Oh well, I still have the stuff you released before AHS to check out.

Eu tinha 16 anos quando me vi subindo e descendo tais "caminhos", sozinho nas matas adentro em meio à serras. Dá um gelo só de lembrar!!!! Mas depois que o medo passa a gente ri kkkk. Stunning graphics! I love the blending of animation & fine art, it’s my 2024 ambition to explore that with my own work. I also admire the subtleties in movement-and the use of the pentatonic scale. I now need to see how to buy this and play it! Thank you for your great work. Deirdre

The art direction had me leaning forward, then I was sold once the music kicked in. Easily my favorite Indie Showcase game. I'm going to pre-order this and check out inkleStudio's other games.

Hello inkleStudios, I have a question. Since it reminds me a bit of Oxenfree regarding the style, I want to ask, if in your game the player can run and jump whenever he/ she wants? It wasn't the case with Oxenfree, where you could move only slowly most of the time which was frustrating. I would be thankful for a short response, greetings from Germany

As a big sorcery , steve jackson and your studio fan, there are not enough good action fantasy game out there in the market dear inkle studio developers so it would be very beneficial for you to focus on that genre
